Reclaim Production Tech - 2nd Shift (3:30-12PM M-F)

The Reclaim Production Technician plays a crucial role in the management of refrigerants, assisting with both incoming and outgoing production requirements. This position involves collaborating with the Refriclaim team to ensure efficient loading and unloading of Rapid Recovery cylinders, maintaining accurate inventory records, and fostering a safe and productive work environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and eager to contribute to our mission of achieving a Zero Harm workplace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Refriclaim technicians to efficiently load and unload Rapid Recovery cylinders.
  • Assist the production manager and production technicians in tracking incoming and outgoing inventory with accuracy.
  • Actively participate in fostering a strong Health and Safety culture within the workplace.
  • Setting up and tearing down pump circulations to and from vessels
  • Monitoring the product recovery process and accurately recording the data in our tracking system
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support production goals.

Experience, Knowledge, and Qualification
Essential
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be able to obtain EPA 608 Certification within 3 month of hire
  • Be available to work at least 40 hours per week and be available for overtime hours
  • Poses high attention to detail to receive, inspect, and certify incoming and outgoing cylinders
  • Able to follow standard operating procedures
  • Safety minded to handle high-pressure and liquid cylinders
  • Previous experience working with compressed gas and/or gas cylinders is a plus

Physical Requirements
  • Frequently pushes, pulls, moves and/or lifts up to 50 pounds independently
  • Sitting 10% of the day; standing and/or walking 80-90% of the time
  • Lifting/Carrying from one level to another approximately 20%
  • Occasionally moves cylinders that weigh up to 200 pounds with four-wheel cart
  • Frequently ascends/descends stairs and/or ladders, occasionally carrying materials weighing up to 30lbs
  • Frequently identifies written information on cylinders such as serial numbers, manufacture date, etc.
  • Frequently operates a computer using a traditional keyboard to input detailed information such as serial numbers
  • Manipulations (seizing, holding, grasping or otherwise working with hands) up to 50-75% of the day
  • Frequently drives a motorized vehicle or powered industrial truck (i.e. Forklift) and safely mauver in restrictive spaces
  • Stooping and kneeling up to 20% of the day
  • Frequently communicates detailed information to others. Must be able to exchange accurate information that others can understand.
  • Constantly works in environments with uncontrolled climate and frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions
