As a telehealth counselor, you will engage with clients using our state-of-the-art therapy platform, equipped for video and text sessions. As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual counseling sessions via video chat, establishing a safe and confidential space for clients.
• Facilitating discussions that encourage clients to express their emotions, thoughts, and experiences, fostering a deeper understanding of their challenges.
• Assisting clients in identifying and setting therapeutic goals tailored to their unique needs and personal growth aspirations.
• Monitoring client progress throughout the treatment plan, adjusting strategies as necessary to promote effective recovery.
• Providing advice on healthy coping mechanisms and self-care strategies to enhance clients' day-to-day functioning.
• Identifying behaviors and thought patterns that may hinder recovery, enabling proactive interventions.

The clientele of Serenity Behavioral and Wellness Center primarily includes stable adults with a variety of mental health concerns seeking accessible therapy options. Many of our clients may prefer remote counseling due to time constraints, comfort preferences, or geographical limitations, allowing you to provide quality support to those who may not engage in traditional therapy.

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Current, full licensure to practice independently in Washington as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Please note that provisional or limited licenses are not accepted.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal skills coupled with empathy, enabling a supportive therapeutic environment.
• Proficiency with technology and online therapy platforms for effective session management.

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in telehealth services or those who have worked with diverse populations will find themselves well-suited for this role. Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, particularly in a remote setting, will enhance your contribution to the team and our clients.

Serenity Behavioral and Wellness Center values the dedication of our counselors, offering a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually. In addition to this, we provide:
