Job Description
With data and advanced analytics at the center of our people strategy, we are seeking a seasoned, analytically driven professional to join our People Experience team (HR) as a Sr. People Data Scientist. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and enhancing data-driven insights across the full employee lifecycle. You will partner closely with stakeholders across HR, Talent Acquisition, Finance, IT, and Legal to ensure our people data, models, and analytics support strategic workforce priorities and operational decision-making.
You will play a critical role in elevating our analytics capabilities by building predictive models, applying advanced statistical methods, leveraging natural language processing (NLP), and delivering insights that enable better workforce planning, employee experience, and organizational effectiveness. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. People Analytics & Insights
  • Analyze and report on the employee lifecycle (from hiring and onboarding to development and exit) by building descriptive and diagnostic dashboards that deliver insights on hiring, performance, attrition, engagement, rewards, merit, promotions, headcount and overall organization health.
  • Lead employee listening analytics (onboarding, quality of hire, exit surveys) and partner with People Business Partners, Finance, Compensation, and other COEs to support QBRs, org health reviews, and strategic workforce initiatives.
  • Enable trusted, self-service insights by collaborating with analytics and technical teams to ensure data quality, consistency, and ongoing enhancements to user-friendly analytics platforms.
  1. Advanced People Analytics

Define and execute the enterprise people analytics and data science strategy, advancing from descriptive reporting to predictive, prescriptive, and AI-enabled insights.
Predictive Modeling: Develop and maintain advanced predictive models, statistical analysis including:
  • Attrition prediction
  • Forecasting trends to identify workforce risks and opportunities
  • Survival analysis for tenure and lifecycle predictions
  • Skills gap identification and capability modeling

Gen AI-Data Driven People Insights:
  • Narrative Insight Generation: Leverage Generative AI and Natural Language Processing (NLP) across key workforce data-such as employee demographics, tenure, job families, countries, terminations, and trend indicators-to automatically surface themes, generate narrative insights, and support strategic, data driven decision making.
  • Transform Unstructured Text into Actionable Intelligence: Use advanced topic modeling, sentiment analysis, and NLP techniques to convert open text survey feedback into structured insights that reveal employee sentiment, emerging issues, and experience drivers.
  • GenAI-Enabled Data Insights: Support the exploration of AI-enabled solutions that offers real-time, contextual guidance on workforce trends, attrition patterns, and retention risks, as well as offering considerations points for people leaders and their aligned people business partners.
  1. People Data Governance:
  • Own people data governance and quality by standardizing metrics, integrating systems, auditing data accuracy, and ensuring reliable refresh SLAs and reconciliation across platforms.
  • Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance by managing access controls, PII governance, data classification, encryption, and documentation aligned with data privacy policies.

Qualifications
REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Data Analytics or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in People Analytics, HR Analytics or Data Science.

SKILLS:
  • Expert-level proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), Excel and Oracle/SQL.
  • Strong expertise with Python, R for data analysis/modeling.
  • Strong experience with advanced statistical methods (e.g., regression, cluster analysis, text analysis, sentiment analysis, etc.) and deliver actionable insights.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, influencing, and storytelling skills.
  • Experience in partnering with senior leaders to drive data-informed decisions
  • Excellent data management and data governance skills.
