Registered Nurse Unit Coordinator- Freestanding Emergency Department
Full Time & Night Shift
7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Education:
  • RN-Bachelor's Degree
  • RN-Master's Degree

Certification/Licensure
  • Virginia or Compact Multi-state RN (Registered Nurse) license in good standing.
  • ACLS & PALS or ENPC within one (1) year of hire
  • BLS within 90 days of hire

Required Qualifications:
  • 18 months nursing experience required. BSN required; Master degree preferred, if the graduate degree is not in nursing then the BSN is required .

Preferred
  • 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience

Registered Nurse Unit Coordinator/RNUC - Demonstrates proficiency in nursing practice for assigned specialty area and provides clinical leadership for the delivery of nursing care in a department. Under the direction of the department manager leads safety and quality initiatives, focuses on and simplifies workflow, and contributes to the development of staff. Increase staff satisfaction and promotes excellent (Gold Standard) customer service.
