EDUCTATIONAL & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical training/certifications preferred).
  • 5-8 years of experience in a facilities role with strong background in HVAC and electrical maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and basic mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts and respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems and digital maintenance tools.
  • Experience in industrial or manufacturing settings.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
  • Forklift certification or scissor lift operation experience.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC equipment (e.g., chillers, cooling towers units, air handlers, exhaust fans).
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems: lighting, panels, motors, controls, and wiring (up to 480V).
  • Monitor building systems and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
  • Support general facility upkeep: plumbing, lighting, doors, carpenter, flooring, etc.
  • Assist in facility inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors during repairs and installations.
  • Respond to service requests and work orders using CMMS.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks and completed work.
  • Participate in emergency response and after-hours support as needed.
  • Work with Maintenance team to maintain inventory of maintenance materials and supplies to assure down time is minimized due to lack of parts.
  • Complete and document maintenance activities associated with predictive and corrective maintenance activities in a computerized maintenance database.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay current with industry advancements and technologies.
  • Maintain NOV guidelines on safety, quality, and delivery.
  • Clean work areas as necessary to maintain cleanliness, health, and safety standards. 
  • All other reasonable tasks assigned with the goal of helping the team, operations, or the facility overall.
