Job description

Senior Web Developer - Data Visualization (TS/SCI)
Location: MacDill Air Force Base, Tampa, Florida
Clearance: Active TS/SCI Employment Type: Full-time, contingent upon contract award
Travel: Minimal
About Cadence Coalition
Cadence Coalition is a mission-focused IT and intelligence services firm supporting the Department of Defense and the national security community. We build small, senior, tightly integrated teams that embed directly with our government customers and stay on mission for the long haul. Our work spans data engineering and analytics, command-and-control integration, and operational planning support for combatant commands. We hire people who have done the mission, we pay them accordingly, and we keep them on programs where their experience compounds instead of getting reset every recompete.
About the Role
Cadence Coalition is building the team for a U.S. Central Command operational enterprise services program. We are seeking a Senior Web Developer to serve as Key Personnel on the Information Management Development and Data Visualization Team, turning complex operational data into decision-quality dashboards and analytic products for USCENTCOM leadership.
This is a named, proposal-critical role. The selected candidate will be identified by name in our proposal and must be available to begin work on the contract start date.
What You'll Do
• Design, build, and sustain interactive dashboards, visualizations, and reporting products supporting operational and strategic decision-making across the USCENTCOM enterprise.
• Develop and maintain data models, ETL pipelines, and data warehouse structures supporting automated ingestion from authoritative sources.
• Perform data cleansing, tagging, transformation, curation, cataloging, schema management, lineage tracking, monitoring, and alerting.
• Build secure, scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant data pipelines in accordance with DoD security requirements.
• Coordinate with the USCENTCOM Chief Data Officer, the Operations Directorate Executive Data Officer, and applicable boards, bureaus, centers, cells, and working groups on data governance and standards.
• Translate mission-owner requirements into functional analytic products and iterate with users to refine them.
• Support integration of emerging technologies, including AI/ML capabilities, into the analytic environment.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience within the past ten (10) years in data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Master's degree required • Recent experience (within the past ten years) in data visualization using Tableau, Power BI, Maven Smart Systems, QLIK, or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to transform complex datasets into actionable dashboards and reports.
• Functional proficiency in Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship.
Desired Qualifications
• Recent Agile/DevOps experience.
• Working knowledge of AWS GovCloud and/or Azure Government.
• Experience applying AI/ML to data analytics, including supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning; generative AI; large language models; or multimodal AI.
• Experience with data lakes, lakehouses, or DoD and combatant command data catalogs.
• Prior support to a combatant command, the Joint Staff, or a Service-level headquarters.
Compensation
Salary Range: $135,000 – $155,000 annually, depending on experience, credentials, and clearance status.
Cadence Coalition posts good-faith ranges. Candidates bringing Maven Smart Systems experience or applied AI/ML analytics depth should expect consideration at the upper end of the range. Florida has no state income tax, which meaningfully increases take-home pay relative to comparable offers in the National Capital Region.
Why Cadence Coalition?
• Highly competitive pay - benchmarked against the cleared market, not the commercial one, and reviewed annually.
• Comprehensive benefits - medical, dental, and vision; 401(k) with company contribution; generous PTO and federal holidays.
• Stable, mission-focused programs - long-duration combatant command work, not staff augmentation churn.
• Career growth in a respected DoD IT and intelligence contracting company - clear paths into technical lead, program, and capture roles, with funded training and certification.
What We Need From You Up Front
This position is proposed as Key Personnel. Selected candidates will be asked to provide a current resume mapped to the qualifications above with month and year detail for each relevant assignment, complete a Key Personnel Qualification Matrix, and sign a Letter of Commitment confirming availability to begin work on the project start date. Employment is contingent on contract award to our team.
Cadence Coalition is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran. This position requires U.S. citizenship and an active U.S. government security clearance.
