About the Position: Mississippi Public Broadcasting Television Department is seeking an experienced, Senior Television Producer to produce broadcast television, web, and professional video content as assigned, from concept to completion.? This position will oversee or conduct research, planning and execution of productions for the agency.?? Must have the ability to schedule, manage pre-production planning and post-production efficiently.? The ideal candidate will be able to supervise production crews and project teams; hire contract personnel as needed and conduct contract negotiations.? Proficient scriptwriting skills is preferred with professional storytelling skills that are appropriate for public television.? Budget creation and management is required.??Supervisory position is accountable for producing, directing, writing, and editing all aspects of Broadcasting and Multimedia programs and series. Employee supervision includes hire recommendations; training; work planning, assignments, and review; and performance assessment, coaching, and progressive discipline.
