Position Summary
The State University of New York at Buffalo is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Clinical Research Coordinator to join our Optical Imaging and Analysis Facility for the School of Dental Medicine. As a Senior Research Support Specialist, you will work at the Optical Imaging and Analysis Facility for the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. Your primary responsibility will be the oversight of the facility's flow cytometry and cell sorting services.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in science or engineering field.
  • Basic professional knowledge of fluorescence and flow cytometry.
  • Able to follow all biosafety level 2 requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in biology, optics, or similar field of study.
  • One or more years of experience in a university core facility and/or research lab management. Demonstrated ability to manage all aspects of complex instrumentation operations.
  • One or more years of experience with flow cytometers and/or cell sorters, including flow cytometry analysis.
  • Prior experience providing training on technical analytical instruments.
  • One or more years of experience working in a customer service capacity or a similar customer facing position.
  • Specialized training or advanced knowledge of immunology.
