  • We are looking for an experienced, collaborative, and adaptable Senior UX Designer (individual contributor) who is passionate about understanding user needs and pain points to join our User Experience Design (UX) team. This role requires a designer who can independently lead their work, navigate ambiguity, and take ownership from problem definition through execution, while collaborating closely with cross-functional partners.
  • You will play a critical part in shaping our digital experiences by translating complex financial needs into intuitive, trustworthy, and high-quality client interactions that empower millions of clients to confidently manage their financial lives.

Responsibilities
  • Bring products to life, designing solutions that delight and satisfy our clients while meeting business needs.
  • Support product design efforts from initial discovery through to final delivery.
  • Design intuitive interactions across desktop, mobile web, and native mobile experiences.
  • Create solutions in tandem with a cross-functional Agile team.
  • Independently drive design exploration and decision-making by defining problems and proposing actionable solutions.
  • Own the delivery of assigned work, proactively addressing challenges and adapting quickly to evolving requirements.
  • Maintain high design standards aligned to channel guidelines and our enterprise design system, thoughtfully evolving patterns and approaches when appropriate.
  • Build strong, productive partnerships with peers and cross-functional partners through clear communication, shared understanding, transparency, and mutual accountability.
  • Put clients first by making thoughtful design decisions grounded in user needs, business priorities, and long-term value.
  • Set a clear path for your work by articulating direction, tradeoffs, and next steps, especially in ambiguous situations.
  • Demonstrate a challenger mindset by constructively questioning assumptions and exploring better ways forward.
  • Model strong leadership behaviors by setting a clear, accountable example through craft and follow-through, and mentor less experienced designers when opportunities arise.

Minimum qualifications
  • 6-10 years of UX design experience focused on digital products or equivalent.
  • 1+ year of UX experience specifically for touch-based mobile interfaces.
  • Experience with most aspects of a user-centered design process, including user research, developing user flows, creating wireframes, and building interactive prototypes for testing.
  • Proficiency in design tools like Figma.
  • An online portfolio showcasing design thinking that leads to innovative solutions (please include a link to your digital portfolio on your resume, along with any required passwords).

Preferred qualifications
  • Experience using AI-powered tools or workflows (professionally or independently) to support design, research, or problem-solving, with an interest in thoughtfully applying emerging technologies in client experiences.
  • Strong self-management skills and comfort owning work independently.
  • Ability to clearly communicate design decisions to diverse audiences.
  • Technical knowledge or experience collaborating closely with engineers.
