A portfolio (including at least one case study that showcases your UI and UX abilities) must be provided with your application for candidacy consideration.
The Senior UX Designer will shape the user experience for our SaaS web products as an individual contributor. Why this role matters:
IT teams choose and stick with PDQ products because they're fast, intuitive, and built for real workflows. As a Senior UX Designer, you'll directly shape how thousands of IT professionals experience our tools every day, influencing product adoption and customer satisfaction.
How you might spend your day:
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to refine project requirements and ensure alignment with business and user needs.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate design solutions and user flows.
  • Conduct user research and interviews with customers to validate product ideas, gather feedback, and refine user experiences.
  • Iterate on designs based on user feedback and team input to ensure the product meets both user expectations and business goals.
  • Work closely with engineering teams, answering questions about design implementation and ensuring the final product looks and feels great.
  • Stay up to date with UX/UI design trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve design output.
  • Collaborate in an agile environment, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and other relevant activities to ensure successful project delivery.

We're looking for people who have:
Must Have:
  • 5+ years of product design experience on customer-facing web SaaS products
  • Experience working directly with product managers and engineering teams
  • Experience conducting external customer interviews, including sourcing participants
  • Proficiency with Figma
  • Understanding of AI workflows and prototyping

Nice to Have:
  • Experience designing for IT or developer-focused SaaS products
  • Familiarity with device management, endpoint security, or similar IT domains
  • Experience with design systems and component libraries
  • Background in accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices

Who you are:
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Adaptability and comfort working in evolving environments.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
  • Curiosity, initiative, and a continuous learning mindset.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to present and defend design decisions to cross-functional stakeholders.

Why You'll Love Working at PDQ:
PDQ offers all of the great perks and benefits you'd expect from working at a very cool tech company, and even some you might not expect, including:
  • 4-Day Work Week
  • Equity Participation
  • Managers who champion professional development
  • 100% Premium Coverage for medical, dental and vision for you and your dependents
  • 100% Premium Coverage for Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, Life, and AD&D Insurance
  • Company Match of the first 6% of your employee deferrals
  • Flexible Paid Time Off Policy that treats you like the adult that you are
  • Health Savings Account (HSA) and wellness incentives
  • Quarterly Company Values Award (team member nominated)
