Summary:

We are looking for a Systems Specialist, FP&A to join our FP&A Systems team. This role is for someone who is passionate about technical problem-solving and providing high-quality support while making a tangible impact across the organization.

We are looking for someone to join one of ourhub locations (Burnaby, Calgary, or Toronto).All hub-based Clions are expected to be in the office for a minimum of twice per week on one of our Anchor Days. Occasional travel to partner or supplier sites as required.

What your team does:

Clio is looking for someone to join the FP&A Systems team to design, develop, maintain and administer our EPM platform and integrations.

  • We partner with Finance and business leaders to enhance financial planning, reporting, and forecasting processes.

  • We configure and optimize our EPM platform to support budgeting, scenario modeling, and financial analysis.

  • We develop scalable workflows and automation to improve efficiency and data integrity.

  • We support end users by providing training, documentation, and troubleshooting for our systems.

  • We collaborate with IT and other system teams to integrate and align data across our platforms.

What you'll work on:

  • Act as a technical point person for our EPM Solution (Pigment), ensuring system health through proactive maintenance and monitoring.

  • Manage the end-to-end ticket lifecycle by providing timely, customer-first support and technical troubleshooting for our internal users.

  • Coordinate with teammates and stakeholders to resolve bugs and execute system enhancements that improve the user experience.

  • Assist in maintaining FP&A integrations with connected applications: NetSuite, Workday, SFDC, and Looker, etc.

  • Execute user acceptance testing (UAT) and quality checks to ensure data integrity and system reliability.

  • Administer user licenses and permissions while ensuring proper controls are in place for sensitive financial data.

  • Draft and maintain application documentation, help articles, and instructional materials to empower our users.

  • Support Senior Specialists in scoping requirements for new roadmap features by providing insight into common user pain points.

What you bring:

  • 3-5 years experience with EPM platforms, either from an administration/maintenance standpoint or as a power user within an FP&A team.

  • Familiarity with financial reporting, planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.

  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a fast-paced environment.

  • A customer-first approach to providing support, with the ability to translate technical fixes into clear communication for non-technical users.

  • Proven ability to collaborate and coordinate effectively within a team to meet shared goals.

  • Experience writing user-facing documentation or training guides.

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrate a keen interest in improving your craft by using AI

The expected salary range* for this role is $89,300 to $105,000 to $120,700 CAD. There are a separate set of salary bands for other regions based on local currency.


*Our salary bands are designed to reflect the range of skills and experience needed for the position and to allow room for growth at Clio. For experienced individuals, we typically hire at or around the midpoint of the band. The top portion of the salary band is reserved for employees who demonstrate sustained high performance and impact at Clio. Those who are new to the role may join below the midpoint and develop their skills over time. The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on geographical region, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate.
