Job Summary:
Compu-Vision Consulting Inc. is seeking a Senior UNIX/Linux Shell Scripting Developer for a 24-month project in Albany, NY. The role involves writing Bash and Korn Shell scripting code, automating system administration tasks, and conducting requirement analysis to drive the design and implementation of batch processes.
Responsibilities:
• 84 months experience writing Bash and Korn Shell scripting code to meet project requirements.
• 84 months experience with navigating and traversing Linux environments from a command line interface.
• 72 months experience implementing batch processing solutions using Shell scripting to automate system administration tasks, data processing, and file operations (such as: file manipulation, printing and emailing).
• 72 months experience in conducting requirement analysis and strategic analysis to drive the design, development, testing, and implementation of batch processes.
• 60 months experience in leading small development teams in an agile project environment.
• 36 months experience utilizing SQL Plus client to execute SQL logic in a UNIX/Linux environment.
