Job Description
Our Investment Banking department is actively looking for an Analyst to join the Industrials Group in our Baltimore office. The candidate will be working closely with senior members of the Industrials Group with opportunities to gain exposure to both sell side and buy side advisory as well as underwriting and placing equity and debt offerings for public and privately held companies.
Responsibilities:
  • Preparing client presentations, drafting offering memoranda, preparing internal committee memoranda, preparing management and board presentations and other materials for senior bankers as required
  • Transaction execution involving direct client interaction and communication
  • Managing client due diligence processes
  • Conducting extensive financial modeling and valuation
  • Assessing industry research and trends
  • Liaise with both internal and external parties (including corporate issuers, financial sponsors, legal counsel, among others) to expand corporate relationships and drive day-to-day deal process
  • Review and oversee development of financial models, valuation analyses, research

Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of experience in investment banking, Industrials experience preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills essential
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Elevated attention to detail and consistency in work product
  • Strong work ethic and team player
  • Organized and proactive
  • Dealogic, CapIQ, Bloomberg and MS Office suite knowledge strongly preferred
  • Series 63, 79 licenses and Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) FINRA registrations required at time of hiring or shortly thereafter

Compensation:
This salary range is specific to the City of Baltimore and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making salary decisions including but not limited to your skills, qualifications, experience, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $115,000.00 - $130,000.00 at the time of this posting. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as discretionary bonus.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
