Position Summary:The Senior Director of Campus Hospitality & Facilities Operations provides strategic and operational leadership for the stewardship, maintenance, and hospitality experience of the Unity Village campus. This role oversees hospitality services and accommodationsโ€”including the campus's award-winning hotel and award-winning Airbnb propertiesโ€”facilities maintenance, grounds, and building operations to ensure a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment for guests, employees, tenants, and visitors.The Senior Director ensures operational excellence across all campus services while aligning with Unity's mission, values, and commitment to hospitality, community, and service.This role integrates facilities management, guest experience, accommodations, and campus infrastructure to support Unity Village as a premier destination for weddings, celebrations, sacred ceremonies, corporate events, multi-day spiritual retreats, conferences, and community engagement.Essential Job Functions:Lead and develop managers and operational staff across facilities, hospitality, and grounds operations.Establish clear expectations, performance metrics, and accountability for operational teams.Foster a culture of service, collaboration, and stewardship.Oversee hospitality operations across the campus including guest services, lodging and accommodations, event support spaces, and hospitality areas.Ensure a consistent, high-quality guest experience aligned with Unityโ€™s values and service culture.Oversee the campus's accommodations portfolio, including the award-winning hotel and award-winning Airbnb properties, ensuring each consistently reflects Unity Village's standard of excellence in guest lodging and hospitality.Provide leadership for the Events teams to support a full range of campus events and programming, including weddings, celebrations, sacred ceremonies, corporate events, multi-day spiritual retreats, and conferences.Provide leadership for campus facilities maintenance, building operations, and infrastructure management.Oversee preventive maintenance programs to ensure facilities are safe, functional, and well maintained.Direct teams responsible for mechanical systems, building maintenance, utilities, and general campus infrastructure.Manage vendor relationships and service contracts for facilities services.Oversee campus landscaping, grounds care, and property management.Ensure campus aesthetics align with Unity Villageโ€™s reputation as a welcoming and inspiring environment.Manage snow removal, outdoor maintenance, and environmental stewardship of campus grounds.Develop and manage departmental budgets across hospitality, facilities, and grounds operations.Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance operational performance.Implement long-term facility planning, capital improvement planning, and maintenance forecasting.Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and operational standards.Support emergency preparedness, business continuity, and campus safety planning.Demonstrate regular and dependable on-site attendance, adhering to assigned schedule (not a remote role).Comply with all company and departmental policies, including safety guidelines outlined in the guidebook.Utilize the electronic time management system for accurate time tracking, attendance, and paid time off requests.Education: Bachelorโ€™s degree in Facilities Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.Experience:7โ€“10 years of leadership experience in facilities operations, hospitality management, campus operations, or property management.Experience managing multi-department operational teams.Experience overseeing large properties, campuses, resorts, or hospitality environments preferred.Budget management and capital planning experience required.Knowledge & Skills:Facilities and infrastructure managementHospitality service deliveryVendor and contract managementOperational planning and logisticsBudget development and financial managementTeam leadership and staff developmentRisk management and safety complianceStrong communication and collaboration skillsLeadership Competencies:Servant leadershipOperational excellenceStrategic thinkingCollaborative problem solvingGuest experience mindsetStewardship of resourcesComputer Skills: MS Office: Word, Outlook and Excel.
