Job description

We are searching for a Senior Construction Inspector to support our Transportation Department. Reporting directly to the Construction Engineering & Inspection (CEI) Supervisor, the successful candidate will work and coordinate with a team of inspectors performing inspection services that may include concrete, asphalt, earthwork, traffic control, and Erosion Prevention and Sediment Control (EPSC). The inspection services will be on projects for roadways and bridges, drainage structures, and utilities.

Qualification and Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience on Roadway and Bridge construction type projects.
  • Certifications are a plus including 10-hour OSHA Construction Safety & Health, Nuclear Gauge Technician, TDOT/ACI Concrete Technician, Asphalt Roadway or Plant Technician, and Work Zone Traffic Control/Flagging.
