Job description

Wells Fargo is seeking a Treasury Management Consulting Senior Manager to lead a high-performing Middle Market Treasury Management team within Global Treasury Management.

This is an opportunity to lead an experienced team of Treasury Management Consultants supporting clients across Southern California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, and surrounding markets. The successful candidate will combine strong Treasury Management and payments expertise with exceptional sales leadership, helping drive growth, deepen client relationships, and elevate team performance.

We are seeking an inspirational sales leader who thrives on winning new business, coaching top talent, and building strong partnerships. This highly visible role partners closely with Commercial Banking, Product, Operations, Technology, and Treasury Management leadership to accelerate revenue growth, expand market share, and deliver innovative treasury, liquidity, payments, and working capital solutions to clients.

The ideal candidate balances the consultative relationship focus of commercial banking with a growth mindset and passion for innovation, helping clients navigate an increasingly digital payments landscape while delivering meaningful business results.

In this role, you will:
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Treasury Management Consultants serving Middle Market clients across a multi-state territory.

  • Drive new client acquisition, deposit growth, revenue generation, and market expansion through disciplined sales leadership and execution.

  • Serve as a hands-on leader by participating in client meetings, structuring complex opportunities, and coaching consultants on sales strategy, prospecting, and solution positioning.

  • Build and expand relationships with CFOs, Treasurers, Controllers, Finance Leaders, and other executive decision-makers.

  • Partner closely with Relationship Managers, Market Executives, Commercial Banking leaders, and Treasury Management partners to execute growth strategies and deepen client relationships.

  • Establish and reinforce best-in-class pipeline management, forecasting, account planning, prospecting, and sales execution disciplines.

  • Leverage market insights, client feedback, and performance analytics to identify opportunities, improve sales effectiveness, and accelerate growth.

  • Collaborate with Product, Operations, Technology, Risk, and Client Service partners to enhance client outcomes and support solution innovation.

  • Promote adoption of treasury, liquidity, payments, digital, and working capital solutions that help clients optimize their businesses.

  • Develop top talent while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and client-focused execution.

  • Influence stakeholders across multiple lines of business and effectively navigate a matrixed organization.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic leader within Global Treasury Management.

Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of Treasury Management Sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, or education.

  • 3+ years of management or sales leadership experience.

Desired Qualifications
  • Proven sales leadership experience leading Treasury Management, Cash Management, Payments, or related sales organizations.

  • Demonstrated ability to build, coach, and inspire high-performing sales teams.

  • Strong expertise in Treasury Management, liquidity, receivables, payables, commercial card, payments, and working capital solutions.

  • Track record of driving new client acquisition, prospecting success, deposit growth, and sustained revenue growth.

  • Experience supporting Middle Market clients, preferably within the $100MM-$500MM+ revenue segment.

  • Strong coaching, deal structuring, and sales execution capabilities.

  • Expertise in pipeline management, forecasting, and strategic account planning.

  • Experience building strong partnerships across Commercial Banking, Credit, Product, Operations, Technology, and Risk organizations.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and drive results within a matrixed environment.

  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent executive presence, communication, and presentation abilities.

  • Experience leading teams through growth, transformation, and evolving market opportunities.

  • Knowledge of National Specialized Banking, payments, third-party payment processors, embedded finance, or API-enabled treasury solutions is a plus.

  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation.

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$185,000.00 - $300,000.00
