Position Summary
DMP is hiring a Senior Sales & Marketing Coordinator (SSMC) to fulfill several missions. With the cross-functional support from senior Sales, Marketing, Business Planning, Product, and Program team members, the SSMC will support-
  • Sales operations incl. sales planning, and accounts payable/accounts receivable support
  • Customer and partner engagement incl. quote support & contract review support.
  • Market research, marketing communications & trade event support, etc.
  • Based upon achievements and business needs, duties will evolve.
ย Main Duties and Responsibilities
ย 
  • Sales Operations
    • Coordinate and support departmental projects to ensure alignment with established financial targets and timelines.
    • Sales planning: Salesforce system owner for opportunity forecasting. Coordination with sales and business planning.
    • Sales support for quote & contract review, business cases, contract life-cycle. Coordination with sales and program management.
    • Sales support for accounts payable & accounts receivable activity in sales & marketing areas. Coordination with purchasing and accounting.
    • Sales support for ISO-certification audits
    • Account Plan Support the development of and maintenance of account plans.

  • Inside Sales
    • Serves as a key liaison with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders, working collaboratively and professionally to support high satisfaction with DMP products and services while building credible, effective, and reliable relationships through integrity, teamwork, accountability, and ownership.
      • Communicate effectively with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders; document customer interactions and communicate requirements clearly.
      • Support issue resolution and automotive industry problemโ€‘solving by coordinating with appropriate team members as needs arise.
      • Assist the DMP account team with proposals and related activities to support revenue growth opportunities.

  • Marketing
    • Conduct Market Research
      • Study technologies, key performance indicators, and automotive market information to assist in the development of proposals, external announcements and internal communications.
      • Conduct both routine and targeted Market Research to transform market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape into product messaging and communications.
    • Support development of Marketing Collateral
      • Under direction of senior staff, create compelling sales & marketing materials such as presentations, digital maps, physical collateral, social media content, and trade event collateral.
      • Support product demos, POCs, etc.
      • Support Trade Events in person, as needed.
    • Provide Assistance with Marketing Communications
      • Work closely with marketing, product management, and sales to develop effective product messaging, collateral and announcements for trade events, website, and other internal and external communications.
      • Provide project support for trade events as directed.
      • Support other core marketing activities as directed.
ย Skills, Qualifications and Assetsย 
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree required. Major preferences include Data Science, Communications, Business. Must present a record of high achievement and involvement.
  • Three years of work experience in customer support roles is required.
  • High proficiency with MS Excel and Salesforce is required.
  • Experience or comfort with developing presentations is preferred

  • Office environment: the position is at DMP NAโ€™s company headquarters in Livonia MI.
  • Business Travel to support customer meetings and trade events (10%).
