We are hiring for a Lead Programmer Analyst with advanced Tandem HP/Nonstop experience.
Senior Tandem HP Nonstop/Programming lead role responsible for coordinating and guiding a development team on client programming projects and implementations.

The role involves defining, scheduling, designing, coding, testing, documenting, and coordinating technical solutions under management direction. The Lead Programmer also helps to ensure projects are completed on time, meet departmental standards, and support client commitments.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing new systems and enhancements
  • Developing and modifying programs and procedures
  • Leading and mentoring developers on assigned projects
  • Supporting coding, testing, and documentation when needed
  • Tracking project status, time, schedules, risks, and delays
  • Coordinating with requestors to confirm business needs and demonstrate results
  • Training less experienced programmers and sharing technical knowledge
  • Improving development processes, quality, and responsiveness

Required skills: COBOL, SCOBOL, Tandem HP Nonstop utilities, batch and online programming, reliable system design, and the ability to build maintainable code.
