JOB NOTICE
Lakeview Loan Servicing, LLC seeks:
POSITION: Senior Systems Engineer
DESCRIPTION: Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of our core IT infrastructure. This role will focus on the administration of Microsoft technologies and broader systems, including Linux, virtualization platforms, and cloud environments. Responsible for ensuring the stability, scalability, and security of critical systems, while mentoring junior team members and driving infrastructure automation and modernization initiatives. Key responsibilities include:
  • Infrastructure Design and Management: Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of core infrastructure services, including Active Directory (AD), Entra ID, Windows/Linux servers, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
  • Server Administration: Oversee the administration of Windows Server and Linux systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
  • Virtualization and Storage: Manage enterprise-level virtualization platforms, such as VMware and Hyper-V, and support SAN/NAS storage solutions.
  • Email and Collaboration Services: Support and maintain Microsoft 365 or Exchange environments, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration across the organization.
  • Automation and Scripting: Develop and implement automation tools using PowerShell, Bash, or Python to streamline infrastructure management and increase operational efficiency.
  • Security and Compliance: Enforce security policies and procedures, including patch management, system hardening, and role-based access control, to ensure regulatory compliance and data protection.
  • Disaster Recovery and Backup: Design and maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies, ensuring data integrity and system continuity in case of failures.
  • Mentorship and Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, ensuring knowledge transfer and best practices across the team.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, or related field, and 7 years of experience in systems engineering and Microsoft systems. Requires experience in/with: Active Directory, Windows Server, and Group Policy; Cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, including laaS, PaaS, and hybrid cloud architectures; PowerShell, Bash, or Python for scripting and automation; and networking concepts including DNS, DHCP, load balancing, and firewalls. HOURS: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week
