About the Role

ID Fusion is looking for someone who is excited by the prospect of working with a variety of small to medium-sized clients across multiple industries. You will have the opportunity to combine your knowledge of business and technology to help our clients transform and grow their businesses and organizations. As a key contributor, you will work closely with our team of project managers, architects, developers and technicians driving value for our clients.


System analysis is about understanding a business's IT needs. It is about understanding the context around those needs, facilitating the change and devising the solution to ensure improvements are made. As a Systems Analyst,your top priority isto build strong and trusted relationships with our customers. As a key client-facing team member and trusted advisor, you identify business and technology problems and work with our solution design team to solve those problems. You will often work closely with several cross-functional teams in product and business development to help deliver exceptional solutions.

Your Day to Day

  • Liaise with clients, business representatives, technical staff and other professionals to analyze and actualize the business needs of clients and stakeholders to identify business problems and identify system's requirements
  • Gather requirements with stakeholders and users to identify goals, user needs, drivers for change, current processes, pain points, risks, external factors, what the solution needs to do and what may be viable solution options
  • Evaluate opportunities for process re-design based on best practices and work with architects to propose solutions
  • Produce understandable documentation such as requirements, solution overviews, wireframes, solution designs, process maps, flow charts and other project documentation
  • Facilitate research, planning, costing and implementation of business solutions to provide technical expertise and leadership in the assessment and development of software applications
  • Identify and prioritize system functionality based on the requirements
  • Perform research and evaluate possible technologies or vendor solutions that are available to address the solution requirements
  • Build and create successful arguments or IT business cases to support the solution recommendations
  • Provide client consulting and technical support services on project implementation
  • Support in the estimation of project effort, costs and timelines and project intake activities including planning, scheduling, tracking, management and closure activities.
  • Writingtest cases, perform testing, quality assuranceand act as a liaison between users and the development team during UAT
  • Develop and deliver support and training materials or training sessions


Experience You Bring

  • 5 years+ of experience as a System Analyst with a track record of getting things done
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in custom software / technology projects
  • Strong knowledge of business analysis best practices
  • Superior relationship management skills
  • Tech-savvy and can pickup new tools quickly
  • Experience in creating wireframes for user interfaces
  • Relevant University degree or college diploma

Bonus "But Not Required" Skills

  • Product design experience, either mobile, web or desktop apps
