Job description

Crosspoint Human Services is seeking a skilled and motivated Systems Administrator to join our IT team. The Systems Administrator will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring systems are secure and reliable. This role plays a critical part in supporting business operations through effective system performance and user support.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with the design, implementation, and ongoing support of new software and features.
  • Install and update network system improvements as needed.
  • Set up equipment for new users.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access to systems and data.
  • Modify configurations, utilities, software, and other elements as needed.
  • Provide technical support either by phone, remote access or site visits as needed.
  • Assist with Servers, LAN/WAN technologies, computer repair/troubleshooting software, networks, virus protection, Wi-Fi technology, and more.
  • Implement and maintain security measures to protect systems and data from unauthorized access and threats.
  • Implement and maintain firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems to protect against unauthorized access.

Schedule: Monday through Friday 8Am to 5PM with on-call responsibilities

Job Requirements:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience in an IT related field.
Proficiency in networking protocols, LAN/WAN management, network security, VPN configuration, and firewall management.
Minimum of 3 years experience in an IT related field.
Previous experience as a help desk technician, computer technician, or IT support preferred.
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CompTIA Network+, or other relevant certifications, preferred.
Previous experience in troubleshooting and managing large-scale network infrastructures preferred.
Experience with cloud networking solutions (e.g. Azure), network monitoring tools and virtualized environments, preferred.
