Maverc Technologies is seeking a Senior System Administrator to support one of our corporate customers.



Job Duties and Responsibilities 

As a Senior System Administrator, you will become part of a dynamic team focused on providing IT services that aid in protecting national security. In this role, you will provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems. You will also manage IT system infrastructure and the processes related to these systems.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications, and software integration.
  • Configure and manage Unix and Windows operating systems
  • Installs/loads/troubleshoot operating systems and software
  • Maintain integrity of and configure network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE 

  • Active TS/SCI with required Polygraph
  • US Citizenship
  • 15 years of experience in System Administration in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity
  • Bachelor's degree in technical discipline. Four additional years' experience may be substituted for degree.
  • IATII certification
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Must be reliable, professional, self-motivated, and enthusiastic


Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related field.
