We are seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to join our team. This role will involve providing hands-on technical leadership, resolving complex IT issues, and supporting enterprise-level systems and infrastructure in a hybrid work environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in Microsoft enterprise environments, systems administration, and IT support leadership, with a passion for delivering reliable, high-quality IT services.


Job Title: Senior Systems Analyst
Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid – local candidates only)
Duration: 6 Months Contract

Job Description:

The Senior Systems Analyst will serve as a technical leader within a team of systems analysts and systems administrators, acting as an escalation point for complex issues and ensuring the stability, security, and reliability of core IT systems. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, collaboration with third-party vendors, and the ability to guide technical teams in resolving advanced infrastructure and application issues.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of overall IT experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Microsoft enterprise environment
  • Proven expertise with:
  • Office 365 / Microsoft 365
  • Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Exchange Server
  • Windows Client and Windows Server (production environments)
  • VPN, RDP, and Microsoft Teams
  • Strong PowerShell scripting experience for automation and administrative tasks
  • Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking fundamentals, including DNS and DHCP
  • 3+ years of experience with Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) upgrades, consolidations, or migrations
  • 2+ years of experience supporting Office/Microsoft 365, including at least one mailbox migration project
  • 1+ year of experience with ADFS or Azure Active Directory, including understanding of SAML 2.0 and cloud SSO providers
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience coordinating with external technical support vendors
  • Proficiency in creating and maintaining technical documentation
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Microsoft Enterprise Mobility Suite / Enterprise Mobility + Security (EM+S)
  • Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure management
  • Experience supporting SharePoint environments
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications (Windows Server, Office 365, Azure)
  • Knowledge of ITIL principles and IT service management best practices
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and adopting new technologies
