Systems Administrator Company Overview Spee Dee Delivery is a family owned and operated company that was started in 1978 by Donald and Sylvia Weeres. Our core business is in standard, next-day, ground delivery. The corporate headquarters and main sort facility is located in St. Cloud, MN. We currently employ over 1,800 employees company wide and over the years have expanded throughout the Midwest. Job Summary The System Administrator will manage and support servers, networks, and user systems while ensuring security and reliability. This role troubleshoots technical issues, implements upgrades, and collaborates with teams to keep IT operations running efficiently.Hours and Wage Exempt salary positionStarting wage: $70,000-$92,500 per year, based on relevant years of experience, education, certifications, and comparison to other employees already in this roleMay require occasional after-hours, weekend, and on-call support for system maintenance, upgrades, outages, and operational needsDuties and Responsibilities Configure, administer, and maintain enterprise systems including servers, networks, storage, and user accounts to ensure optimal performance and security.Perform regular data backups, disaster recovery testing, and business continuity procedures to safeguard organizational data and minimize downtime.Implement and manage system updates, patches, and security fixes to maintain stability, compliance, and protection against vulnerabilities.Proactively monitor system performance, availability, and capacity, identifying and resolving issues before they impact operations.Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, and network problems, providing timely support for both users and critical systems.Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and changes to support compliance and knowledge transfer.Provide advanced technical support to end users, resolving escalated IT issues and offering guidance on best practices.Collaborate with senior IT staff to design and implement system improvements, infrastructure upgrades, and emerging technologies.Support IT security initiatives, including access management, monitoring, and audit requirements to ensure regulatory and organizational compliance.Performs other duties as assigned.
