Student Accessibility Services and Health Resources Student Worker
Position Overview: This position works with the Student Accessibility Services and Health Resources office as they provide accommodations and mental wellness support to CSP students. Student workers will be tasked with supporting this goal through a number of different tasks. Aspects of this role are confidentiality and require student employees to follow both HIPAA and FERPA regulations.
Essential Duties:
  • Greet students to 3rd Floor and schedule student appointments as necessary
  • Perform clerical work including data entry, photocopying, file management
  • Scan alternative text materials
  • Assist with proctoring and delivering exams
  • Assist with department programming (awareness week, finals, etc)
  • Work with other staff to complete projects as needed, as approved by SAS Director.
  • Other duties as assigned

Work Experience:
  • This is a very "office work" intensive job - computer skills are essential
  • Self-starter who is able to identify and complete necessary tasks and work within timelines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills-including typing
  • Demonstrated proficiency with the utilization of Microsoft Office
  • Respect for and ability to adhere to confidentiality agreements
  • Sensitivity to working with a diverse population.
  • GPA 2.9 or higher; junior/senior status encouraged

To be eligible to be a CSP student employee, one must:
  • Be enrolled and registered as a CSP student (PSEO students are not eligible).
  • Have a United States social security number.*
  • Have proper identification as determined by Form I-9.
  • Be in good standing with CSP academic requirements and student accounts.
  • Have declared a major with CSP.
  • For summer employment, priority will be given to the student employees who are enrolled and registered in summer courses.
