As a key contributor to our software security and cybersecurity initiatives, you will:
  • Utilize Agile (Scrum) methodologies to lead software development for security applications and infrastructure enhancements.
  • Foster strong team relationships, providing mentorship and professional development support to junior developers.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define application requirements and drive the product vision.
  • Design and develop software applications to optimize company performance.
  • Leverage Object-Oriented Programming principles to build scalable, reusable code repositories.
  • Identify, establish, and develop API connections for seamless integrations.
  • Conduct software security and vulnerability assessments to ensure robust protection.
  • Manage software testing, version control (Git), and commit authentication.
  • Engineer secure hardware and software systems.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure platforms to support business operations.
  • Consult with internal stakeholders on software projects, providing technical expertise.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines for backend and IoT systems.
  • Implement cybersecurity best practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
  • Document processes, security protocols, and system architectures to support continuous improvement.
  • Perform secure code reviews, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
  • Respond to security incidents, working with response teams to mitigate risks.
  • Mentor junior developers in secure coding practices and promote a security-first culture.

What You Bring
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages: Python, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
  • Strong experience in system, hardware, website, application, and network security testing.
  • Subject matter expertise in application frameworks such as .NET, Node.js, React, Docker, Django, and Linux CLI.
  • Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
  • Experience creating UML diagrams, flowcharts, and technical documentation.
  • Proficiency in unit testing to ensure compliance with organizational security standards.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity policies and frameworks (e.g., NIST, IEEE).
  • Strong technical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of security protocols (SSL/TLS, OAuth) and encryption standards (AES-256, RSA).

What Sets You Apart
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • 3+ years of software development experience.
  • 3+ years of code security analysis experience.
  • 3+ years of cybersecurity experience.
  • Linux-based or security-focused certification.
  • Demonstrated thought leadership through contributions to the cybersecurity community (publications, open-source projects, speaking engagements).
  • Deep expertise in secure coding practices and vulnerability mitigation (e.g., OWASP Top 10).
  • CompTIA PenTest+ Certification
  • Experience with security assessment tools (static/dynamic analysis).
  • Strong understanding of cryptographic methods for securing data and communications.
  • Experience mentoring junior developers and fostering a culture of security awareness.
  • Exceptional ability to write technical documentation and collaborate effectively within a team.

$106,645.76 - $136,515.59
