POSITION OVERVIEW We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our growing team, focused on multi-family residential projects across British Columbia. This role is based in Victoria and plays a critical part in the preconstruction process, supporting accurate, competitive, and well-planned bids from early budgeting through final tender. The ideal candidate brings strong estimating fundamentals, hands-on multi-family experience, and the ability to collaborate closely with preconstruction, operations, and project teams. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and budgets for multi-familyresidential projects

•Analyze drawings, specifications, and tender documents to identify scope, risks, andopportunities

•Solicit, review, and analyze subcontractor and supplier pricing

•Participate in bid strategy, value engineering, and risk reviews

•Develop conceptual and preliminary budgets during early design phases

•Support contract negotiations and handover to project teams

•Maintain historical cost data and contribute to continuous improvement of estimatingprocesses

•Collaborate closely with project managers, superintendents, and senior leadership

•Prepare complete and accurate proposal packages for construction projects

•Prepare, issue and manage tender documents, including scopes of work, drawings andspecifications to subcontractors and suppliers

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years of estimating experience with a general contractor

• Proven experience estimating multi-family residential projects (wood-frame, concrete, or mixed-use)

• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and sequencing

• Experience with BC construction practices and market conditions

• Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., On-screen takeoff, Bluebeam, Smartbid, Plan Swift or similar)

• Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Office-based role, Monday to Friday (natural business hours)

• Occasional overtime may be required during peak project periods
