As we deliver our ambitious 2030 Growth Strategy, we're looking for a Site Engineering Manager to provide the technical expertise and support for the development, design implementation and maintenance of mechanical and production systems with a view toward improving production efficiency and plant reliability, reducing manufacturing costs and improving safety standards, while performing all duties within the Company's safety, health & environmental regulations.

• B.S. degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering with 2 years of relevant industry experience.
• Aware of core engineering disciplines.
• Works effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to prioritize workload with competing priorities.
• Expertise with any of the following: process equipment, filling or packaging equipment, cleaning validation planning and execution, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), chemical process engineering and pharmaceutical process development
• Working knowledge of FDA regulations, NFPA regulations, and OSHA regulations.
• Experience in collecting, analyzing, and presenting data and recommendations to management.
• Demonstrated technical/analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Required to document processes followed to ensure repeatability and verify accuracy of conclusions.
• Ability to interface with all levels in the organization, including manufacturing or lab personnel and senior management
• Ability to drive teams and suppliers to complete commitments and projects in a timely manner.
• Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Excel required: pivot tables and graphs; expertise with word-processing and presentation software with proficiency in PowerPoint to create and edit presentations

What You'll Be Doing:

• Develop and lead Reliability Analysis.
• Performs and coordinates Root Cause Analysis on failed equipment and systems.
• Develop and execute corrective actions to reduce equipment unplanned downtime.
• Manages Avanti's CMMS (computerized maintenance management system)
• Plan, monitor, report, schedule maintenance tasks, and track work orders.
• Participates in project inception and commissioning.
• Assist in the identification of new equipment and commissioning.
• Start-up, installation, or qualification activities.
• Authoring IQ/OQ/PQ protocols.
• Maintain an understanding of cGMP and compliance in a manufacturing setting.
• Generate policies and procedures to standardize maintenance across the site.
• Interface with Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance, and SHE.
• Validation for maintenance requirements and implementation.
• Work closely with senior staff.
• Work on projects with minimal complexity.
• Participate in quality circles for small projects on-site.
• Participate in sustainability impact assessments for projects.
