  • Location: Greater Myrtle Beach / Conway, South Carolina
  • Employment Type: Full Time
  • Project Scope: Large-Scale Commercial Plumbing / New Construction
  • Licenses Required: None Required

The Opportunity

BPC Services is looking for an experienced Commercial Plumbing Superintendent to lead major commercial projects throughout the Greater Myrtle Beach and Grand Strand area.

This opportunity is built for a proven commercial plumbing leader who knows how to run large projects, direct field teams, solve problems before they impact the schedule, and keep quality and production moving every day.

Our work includes large-scale new construction such as hospitals, high-rise resorts, schools, hotels, and other major commercial facilities, with projects regularly valued at more than $1 million.

If you are an experienced commercial plumber, foreman, or field leader who is ready to take the next step into stronger project leadership, we also want to hear from you.

Considering a move to the Myrtle Beach area? Please apply. We welcome experienced commercial plumbing professionals who are looking to relocate to the Grand Strand for stable, year-round work and long-term career growth.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Lead daily field operations across large commercial plumbing projects.
  • Direct plumbers, foremen, helpers, apprentices, and subcontractor crews.
  • Manage manpower, materials, equipment, and project sequencing to keep work on schedule.
  • Review blueprints, plumbing drawings, specifications, and project plans before work begins.
  • Identify field conflicts and solve problems before they cause delays or rework.
  • Coordinate closely with project managers, general contractors, engineers, and other trades.
  • Maintain strong quality-control standards throughout all phases of construction.
  • Enforce jobsite safety requirements and company procedures.
  • Monitor productivity, material usage, and project progress.
  • Keep crews focused, organized, and accountable for daily production goals.
  • Serve as the primary field leader between BPC management and the project team.

What We Are Looking For

  • 7+ years of commercial plumbing experience, ideally including supervisory or field leadership responsibility.
  • Strong experience with large commercial or institutional plumbing projects.
  • Proven ability to lead field crews and coordinate multiple work activities at once.
  • Strong blueprint and construction drawing interpretation skills.
  • Experience planning manpower, material needs, and project sequencing.
  • Ability to identify and resolve field-condition conflicts.
  • Strong understanding of commercial plumbing systems, installation methods, and applicable codes.
  • Comfortable working directly with general contractors, project managers, and other trades.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Dependable, accountable, and interested in a long-term leadership opportunity.

Strong Candidates May Also Have

  • Experience as a Commercial Plumbing Superintendent, General Foreman, Senior Foreman, or Lead Plumber.
  • Experience managing projects valued at $1 million or more.
  • Hospital or medical gas experience.
  • High-rise construction experience.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.
  • OSHA, fall-protection, aerial-lift, or other jobsite safety certifications.
  • Experience coordinating project submittals or working with engineers.

Project Environment

  • Superintendents may lead crews of approximately 10–20+ field employees, with larger projects requiring even greater field coordination.
  • This is primarily a leadership and management role, not a position where you will be expected to spend your day working with tools.
  • The focus is on keeping projects organized, productive, safe, properly staffed, and moving forward.
  • Work is performed throughout the Greater Myrtle Beach / Grand Strand market.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $35.00–$40.00 per hour
  • Weekly pay
  • Project Completion Bonus
  • Profit Sharing opportunities
  • Company vehicle provided and available for take-home use
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) Retirement Savings Program with employer matching
  • Paid Time Off
  • Paid holidays and sick leave
  • Life and disability insurance
  • Company-provided safety equipment
  • Paid training and safety certifications
  • Manufacturer training programs
  • Employee Relief Fund for emergency financial support
