*** We are hiring out of the following locations: Phoenix (AZ) or Southfield (MI).**

We are currently seeking a Sr. Software development Engineer in test (SDET)  to join our automation team. The position requires an experienced professional with a background in test automation framework development and deployment. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can do attitude and approaches his/her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment. 

Role  

  • Develop and maintain Test automation framework. 
  • Develop and execute automated/manual test cases and perform bug tracking and management. 
  • Understand user features and create test plans and test cases for assigned features. 
  • Contribute to building a flexible and scalable automation solution. 
  • Be a customer advocate and work closely with the team to ensure our testing strategy and environments resemble closely to customer use cases. 
  • Drive validation of high quality, high performance, and production ready software 
  • Ensure quality from low-level software to end applications 
  • Validate software in simulation and on vehicle  
  • Test and release in alignment with vehicle integration, ensuring quality at the vehicle level 
  • Design, maintain and execute automated tests, including functional, system integration, functional, regression and API testing 
  • Support and coordinate between QA engineers and the development teams to ensure growing test coverage 

Qualifications 

  • 7+ years of non-internship professional software development testing experience. 
  • 5+ years of test automation frameworks and tools building experience. 
  • 5+ years experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python or Java,  including object-oriented design. 
  • Relevant experience in field of automotive.  
  • Experience in test automation for Linux , QNX, Android OS, and/or iOS. 
  • Experience with continuous integration systems. 
  • Highly technical, organized, creative, motivated, and passionate about achieving results. 

Educations: 

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science, engineering, math, or related field.
