Job Summary:
Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc. (SGA) is searching for a Software Developer for a contract assignment with one of their premier clients in Tarrytown, NY. The role involves optimizing conversion processes, developing and automating reconciliation scripts, and ensuring data integrity through various SQL and Java tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Understand and optimize the conversion process for conversion and implementation projects.
• Formulate queries using SQL and/or Java and extract from Flexcube Loans.
• High-level Document (HLD) and Technical Design Document (LLD) preparation.
• Develop code to automate the post conversion reconciliation process.
• Develop reconciliation scripts using Java and PL/SQL.
• Review and automate the post conversion reconciliation process.
• Perform data quality analysis to ensure data integrity and accuracy of production data.
• Develop, implement and optimize stored procedures and functions using PL/SQL.
• Develop SQL Queries and scripts for data migration.
• Support the deployed applications through debugging, fixing, and maintenance releases.
• Analyze existing SQL queries and troubleshoot long running queries.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Master's in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology or Electronics Engineering.
• 2 years experience in job offered or 2 years experience as Software Engineer, Software Development Engineer, Applications Engineer or any suitable combination experience/education/training.
