Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer - Java to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Framework, Microservices, and Microsoft Azure. This role requires an independent, self-motivated professional who can design, develop, and deliver scalable enterprise applications while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Candidates must be local to the Chicago area and willing to work in a hybrid work environment.
Required Skills
  • 8+ years of experience in Java application development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java (Java 8/11/17).
  • Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and RESTful APIs.
  • Strong experience in Microservices architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-native application development.
  • Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently.
