Job description

Description

We are seeking a highly motivated, hands-on Senior IT Administrator of Corporate Infrastructure to co-manage along with our IT partner and modernize our internal technology ecosystem. In this dual-nature role, you will act as a "player-coach" serving as the primary technical administrator for our core corporate systems while simultaneously designing the broader governance, security, and process frameworks that allow our infrastructure to scale securely.

The ideal candidate is an expert in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, possesses a strong security-first mindset, and enjoys being close to the execution while thinking critically about long-term business alignment.

Key Responsibilities

Systems Administration & Engineering

  • Serve as the primary administrator for Microsoft 365, Teams, Exchange Online, and SharePoint architecture, including licensing.
  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of hardware and software asset management, including provisioning, configuring, and offboarding endpoint devices (Laptops, Mobile) via Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms as well as other office technologies
  • Manage and continue to improve upon the internal IT Helpdesk ticketing system, providing high-touch, timely technical support for internal employees while identifying and resolving root-cause systemic issues.
  • Configure and maintain identity access controls, Single Sign-On (SSO) configurations, and user group directory structures.

Strategy, Governance & Security

  • Design and enforce corporate IT policies, data retention schedules, and SharePoint governance frameworks to ensure data integrity and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Partner with senior leadership and Impact VCIO's to build an IT roadmap that supports business growth, security objectives, and operational efficiency.
  • Manage third-party IT vendors, software contract renewals, and hardware procurement budgets to maximize ROI.
  • Establish, implement, and monitor endpoint security baselines, including patch management, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and conditional access policies.
  • Develop formal documentation, onboarding runbooks, and self-service training resources for employees.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Experience: 4 to 6+ years of progressive IT infrastructure experience
  • Technical Deep Dive: Expertise administering Microsoft 365 environments, Azure Active Directory / Entra ID, SharePoint sites, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Tools: Proven experience with endpoint management frameworks (e.g., Microsoft Intune) and modern ticketing environments.
  • Mindset: Strong organizational skills with the ability to pivot between solving an immediate user issue and ongoing IT projects.
  • Communication: Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical business leaders and executives.

Physical Requirements: Ability to operate office machinery; including but not limited to: telephone, computer, copy machine, fax machine, printer, and mobile phone.

Working Conditions: Open office workstation environment, moderate to quiet noise levels.

Perks & Benefits:

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage available within 30 days of hire
  • 401(k) plan with company match after just one month
  • Generous paid time off, including vacation, holidays, your birthday, and one floating holiday each year
  • Paid Volunteer Time
  • Friday Summer Hours
  • Paid parental leave
  • Company-paid life insurance and short-term and long-term disability insurance
  • Friendly, supportive team culture with fun company events, employee appreciation activities and more!
