Job Description
We are seeking a mid-level Power Platform Engineer to help design, build, and sustain applications across our Microsoft 365 environment. Working closely with senior engineers and business stakeholders, this individual will contribute to Power Apps development, Power Automate workflows, and SharePoint solutions that support users across the entire organization. The ideal candidate has solid hands-on experience with the Power Platform, is comfortable working in structured or government environments with defined security requirements, and is ready to grow their skills while delivering real impact on day one.
Required Skills and Education
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design, develop, and deploy Power Apps solutions ranging from simple intake forms to multi-screen enterprise applications that support business units across the organization.
  • Build and maintain Power Automate workflows to automate data routing, validation, record management, and approval processes - this is a core function of the role.
  • Support administration of SharePoint Online environments including site collections, lists, libraries, permissions, metadata structures, content types, and navigation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess pain points, gather requirements, and translate business needs into practical platform solutions.
  • Support end-user adoption through training sessions, brown bag workshops, how-to documentation, and hands-on coaching.
  • Contribute to SOPs, governance documentation, and reusable templates that support long-term platform sustainability and compliance.
  • Nice to have: Assist in developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards connected to SharePoint and other M365 data sources.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Active Top Secret security clearance (required prior to start)
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience with SharePoint Online and the Microsoft Power Platform
  • Solid working knowledge of Power Apps (canvas apps required; model-driven a plus) and Power Automate flows - these are the core tools of this role
  • Demonstrated experience building Power Automate workflows with conditional logic, error handling, and integration with SharePoint lists and libraries
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint site governance, permissions, metadata management, and content lifecycle
  • Ability to support a broad, non-technical user base and communicate solutions clearly across technical and functional teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field - or equivalent practical experience
