The Senior Financial Analyst provides financial leadership, analysis, planning, reporting, and strategic business partnering support to the SciCam business. This role is responsible for financial planning and analysis, management reporting, forecasting, budgeting, business performance analysis, and process improvement initiatives. The position serves as a key finance partner to all cross-functional areas of the organization, delivering financial insight and recommendations that support operational excellence, informed decision-making, and profitable growth.

What you will do

  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning activities.

  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, forecasts, business performance metrics, and variance explanations.

  • Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement analysis.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insight, support strategic initiatives, and drive business performance.

  • Develop financial models, business cases, and ad hoc analyses to support management decision-making.

  • Support compliance with internal controls, corporate policies, and audit requirements.

  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting capabilities, and operational efficiencies.

  • Participate in system implementations, reporting enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Present financial results, risks, and opportunities to management and business leaders.

  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members and contribute to special projects as required.

To be successful in this role, we would love if you have

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

  • CPA designation (completed or in progress) preferred.

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, accounting, FP&A, or corporate finance.

  • Experience supporting operational business units in a manufacturing, technology, or industrial environment.

  • Experience with forecasting, budgeting, financial reporting, and variance analysis.

  • Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.

  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong financial modeling and data analysis capabilities.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to influence and build relationships across multiple functions and organizational levels.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • SAP S/4HANA, SAP FI/CO, Project Systems (PS), or similar ERP experience.

  • Experience with Power BI, Power Query, or other business intelligence tools.

  • Experience supporting revenue recognition, project accounting, inventory accounting, and standard costing environments.

  • Experience leading process improvement, system implementation, or finance transformation initiatives.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and influence business decisions through financial insight.

  • Previous experience partnering directly with senior leadership and functional management teams.
