Job Description

Positon: Senior SAP FICO/COPA consultant

Location: Hybrid in Allentown, PA (3-4 days weekly onsite) – they must be willing to relocate immediately to this area or already be here.
3 months, contract may extend, then contract to perm/FTE

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Sr. SAP Consultant-FICO/COPA is responsible for the maintenance and enhancements in SAP FICO module with experience in COPA.

Responsibilities include supporting the business in FICO/COPA areas, including, production issue resolution, implementing new functionalities and enhancements, testing and end user training.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Provide production support and implement new functionality and enhancements in FICO / COPA modules in ECC
  2. Develop design specification documents and work with the technical developers in implementing solutions in FICO and COPA module
  3. Provide training to end users
  4. Support the finance department in the areas of AR/AP/P&L/GL/Balance sheet Dispute Management/Credit Management.
  5. Strong knowledge in COPA module is a must
  6. Hands on design and configuration is a must
  7. In accordance with the NIST CSF and Hallmark Standards, ensure adherence to policies and processes to remain in compliance for maintenance, security continuous monitoring and recovery areas including Asset Management, Change Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, Vulnerability & Patch Management, Data Security, Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity.
  8. Analyze business requirements and perform customizing, configuration, integration, upgrades, testing, documentation preparation, implementation and operational support for FICO / COPA module in the below areas
    1. Financial master data related to vendor, customer, bank, cost center, general ledger
    2. Cost element / center accounting, Profit center accounting and Product costing
    3. Dispute and collection management
    4. Supporting and implementing solutions in COPA reporting module
    5. Exposure to EDI/ALE/IDOCS
    6. Experience in integration areas with SD, MM and PP modules

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

  1. Minimum of 10 years’ experience in SAP ECC FICO and COPA functional area.
  2. 4 years college degree in finance preferred
  3. Experience in Leading SAP projects
  4. Good verbal and written communications skills
  5. Must have excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  6. Must be able to work on simultaneous projects
  7. Knowledge in US GAAP, taxation is a plus
  8. Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language
  9. Maintain a high level of customer service to both internal and external clients

Must have:  Stellar communication skills, ability to work with stakeholders, ability to navigate ambiguity, work independently but also within teams.
