Job Description

Harborview Medical Center's -Harborview Abuse and Trauma Center/Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner(HATC/SANE) is seeking a SANE.
The SANE's are on call providing care to adult, adolescent and pediatric victims of sexual assault including physical exam and forensic evidence collection.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provided service at Harborview Medical Center and Valley Medical Center.
40 hour didactic SANE training is provided and a extensive orientation.
Minimum availability is six 12 hour shifts per month.
Must be able to respond to cases at all 5 hospitals we serve (Harborview, Swedish 1st Hill, Children's, UW Medical Center and Valley) within 45 min to 1 hour.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must live in King County and within 45 min drive time to Harborview

  • Two or more years working as an RN

  • Have/Obtain a Washington state nursing license to practice or MSL

  • Graduated from an accredited school of nursing

Compensation, Benefits and Position Details

$45.59 hourly

Pay Range Maximum:

$84.47 hourly

Case pay $400 Certification premium $1.25/hour BSN or Higher premium $1.00/ hour Evening shift differential $3.00/hour Weekend shift differential $4.00/hour Night shift differential $4.00/hour
