Service Credit Union is seeking a Risk Management Analyst who will be responsible for supporting the daily operations, documentation, monitoring, and administrative functions of the department while developing foundational knowledge of enterprise risk management practices.

Compensation: Starting at $60,000. Negotiable with experience.
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30a.m.-5:00-p.m
Location: Portsmouth, NH Service Credit Union Corporate Headquarters
Hybrid: Required three days in office

Position Responsibilities:
  • Identify, gather, and document current business processes through stakeholder interviews, workflow analysis, and process mapping.
  • Conduct day-to-day operational activities associated with the Enterprise Risk Management program, including risk assessments, RCSAs, data collection, and reporting support
  • Assist in identifying, documenting, and evaluating operational, compliance, strategic, and reputational risks across business units
  • Communicate risk findings and recommendations to business unit owners in a professional and collaborative manner
  • Support business unit owners in the development and tracking of corrective action plans and risk mitigation activities
  • Maintain accurate system records, documentation, and data entry within departmental systems and applications
  • Collect, organize, and maintain key risk indicator (KRI) data and supporting documentation
  • Assist with preparation and maintenance of risk reports, assessment documentation, and program tracking activities
  • Develop and maintain departmental procedures, workflows, and process documentation to support operational consistency and program maturity
  • Support ongoing monitoring and follow-up activities related to risk assessments, action plans, and remediation efforts
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to strengthen operational efficiency and risk management practices
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support risk awareness, governance, and control effectiveness
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment through knowledge sharing, accountability, and continuous learning
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Required Knowledge and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Risk Management. Financial industry experience preferred.
  • Ability to identify, assess, and articulate operational, compliance, strategic, and control risks
