Description
Briaud Financial Advisors is seeking a Senior Financial Planner to serve as a Practice Lead for our business owner client segment within our growing firm. This role is designed for an experienced planner who enjoys deep financial analysis, values long-term client relationships, and is prepared to lead complex planning engagements involving liquidity strategy, tax planning, and succession considerations.

We serve a diverse client base and are committed to delivering thoughtful, objective advice grounded in technical excellence and strong client relationships. As a senior leader, you will play a key role in shaping the planning experience for business owners while contributing to the continued development of our collaborative RIA environment.
In this role you will:
  • Lead Comprehensive Planning Engagements: Serve as the lead planner for complex client relationships. Guide clients through advanced financial planning discussions and oversee the development, presentation, and implementation of comprehensive plans.
  • Deliver Advanced Planning Analysis: Develop retirement income projections, income tax projections and estimates, risk management analyses, estate planning strategies, and business owner planning considerations. Ensure recommendations are technically sound and clearly communicated.
  • Build and Maintain Strong Client Relationships: Develop long-term relationships through proactive communication and ongoing review meetings. Provide objective, fiduciary advice aligned with each client's goals and circumstances.
  • Contribute to Firm Leadership: Collaborate with firm leadership to strengthen planning processes and standards. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior planners and support staff.
  • Support Business Owner Clients: Engage in planning conversations specific to business owners, including liquidity planning, tax strategy, and succession considerations.

Requirements
Required Qualifications:
  • CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation or equivalent (CFA, CPA, JD)

  • Experience within an RIA or fiduciary advisory environment strongly preferred

Salary Description
