Overview

The Opportunity

In this role you will:

  • Monitor, analyse and control the project performance and risk on complex projects.
  • Oversee project risk, analyse the risk impact on Project cost & timeline for early mitigation plan.
  • Understands risk assessment methodologies used within the construction industry, cost and schedule risk analysis.
  • Maintain and update project risk registers in Omega: add/edit risks, reflect status/probability/impact changes, and ensure records are complete and current
  • Liaise with Construction PMs to capture new risks, confirm changes, and document mitigation actions and owners in the register.
  • Liaise with Planning and Cost managers to capture new risks, confirm changes, and document mitigation actions and owners in the register.
  • Coordinate with Cost and Planning to align risk records with cost and schedule impact inputs and changes.
  • Attend and Facilitate risk register reviews and working sessions to drive timely updates and closure of actions
  • Perform data quality checks (missing/duplicate/conflicting entries, mitigation completeness) and issue basic quality/status follow ups
  • Track risk mitigation actions to ensure these are completed in line with the proposed timescales.
  • Maintenance of the internal risk breakdown structure linked database.
  • Develop risk management reports.
  • Supporting the knowledge sharing of risks and opportunities across the portfolio of projects ensuring that lessons are learnt.

We would love to hear from you if:

  • You have experience as a risk analyst in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Have 4+ years of experience in project control, scheduling or project risk management with hands on experience in Primavera P6]
  • Ideally have professional certifications in risk management (e.g., PMI-RMP, IRM-Cert, etc)
  • Are knowledgeable in Safran, Primavera OPC, @risk, MS Project, Power BI an added advantage.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and IT skill.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • You strive to work in a team supporting clients on complex, large-scale construction projects
  • Experience with data analysis tools and risk management software
  • Knowledge of construction methodologies, regulations, and best practices.
  • You enjoy staying abreast of industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to risk management in the construction sectors.
  • Are able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate innovative thinking and fast to adapt new developments in the market.
  • Can handle multiple projects and stakeholders from various time zones.
  • Are eager to learn new skills and knowledge for personal and business need.
