  • SCHEDULE: Exclusive 1st Shift with flexible start windows (7:00 AM or 9:00 AM options) | Shared on-call rotation
  • PLC & CONTROLS: Deep practical proficiency executing program edits and modifications in Allen-Bradley and Siemens suites

What You Will Be Doing (Daily Responsibilities)
  • Provide expert technical support and advanced troubleshooting for complex electronic control systems and high-speed drive systems to maximize asset availability.
  • Execute precise PLC programming modifications, logic upgrades, and system optimizations using Allen-Bradley and Siemens development suites.
  • Implement and refine SCADA solutions to improve real-time data acquisition, plant-wide connectivity, and system performance monitoring.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and control system design projects, utilizing root-cause analysis to engineer layouts for internally upgraded machinery.
  • Partner cross-functionally across the floor during heavy equipment installations, safely utilizing rigging and material handling assets for industrial loads.
  • Uphold rigorous facility safety benchmarks and 5S organizational standards while participating in a shared, technical on-call rotation.
What We Are Looking For (Requirements & Qualifications)
  • Associate Degree in Industrial Automation, Electronics, or a closely related engineering technology discipline.
  • 5+ years of verifiable experience managing automation controls, system integration, or senior electro-mechanical machinery maintenance.
  • Strong hands-on familiarity navigating and configuring Allen-Bradley and Siemens hardware, industrial networks, and HMI interfaces.
  • Flawless competency reading and interpreting highly complex engineering documents, multi-page machine schematics, and electrical diagrams.
  • Comprehensive, safe working knowledge of single/three-phase wiring, industrial AC/DC drives, advanced pneumatics, and hydraulic circuitry.
  • Prior exposure to high-speed processing environments (such as paper converting, commercial printing, continuous web manufacturing, or automated packaging lines) is highly valued.
  • Local proximity, with the requirement to reside within a dependable 45-minute daily driving radius of the Greater Milwaukee / North Shore area.
