Job description

At C&S Companies, we believe work environment, culture, and the opportunity to learn and grow are key elements when considering a new job. We are just the right size to provide the resources and support you need without the burdensome bureaucracy of a large corporate environment. To that end, we foster a family-friendly and supportive workplace; collaborative and employee-focused with an emphasis on quality, integrity, trust, fun, and accountability.

We promote personal and professional growth by cultivating and sustaining a safe, inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels a sense of belonging. By encouraging employees to bring their whole selves to work, we create a diverse and equitable environment where all our voices are heard.

This strong leader will support various marketing functions and is a highly self-directed individual. As a senior marketing coordinator, you will work independently and in groups to lead pursuits, proposals, SOQs, and interview preparations, as well as collaborate on complex sales and marketing projects. You will work closely with individuals at all levels, including senior leadership locally and nationally.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, development, and submission of proposals, qualifications packages, and RFP/RFQ responses, managing multiple concurrent deadlines and priorities.

    • Support pursuit strategy activities, including go/no‑go assessments, content planning, and opportunity tracking.
    • Collaborate with technical teams, leadership, and consultants to develop persuasive written content, scopes of work, and fee information.
    • Oversee proposal production, including layout, editing, and preparation for digital and/or print delivery to ensure timely submission.
    • Create and coordinate proposal graphics—including charts, infographics, layouts, and visual brand elements—to communicate technical concepts clearly and enhance visual impact.
    • Prepare short‑list interview materials, including presentation decks and visual aids, and assist with rehearsal sessions and interview coaching as needed.
  • Coordinate marketing activities such as advertising, direct mailing, event planning, award submissions, and conferences.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve proposal resources such as boilerplate materials, resumes, project descriptions, templates, and graphic standards.
  • Support marketing and sales strategy development and work with regional teams to identify marketplace needs.
  • Attend conferences and client meetings/debriefs as necessary.
  • Maintain systems and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Follow safe work practices according to standards and report hazards or incidents promptly.

Skills / Education / Experience:

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently or in teams under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
