Job description


We are always on the lookout for detail-oriented EMC Engineers to perform efficient and quality testing, and provide exceptional customer service for a third-party testing laboratory.
Job Title:EMC Project Engineer
Job Location:Middlefield, OH
Job Type:Permanent / Direct Hire
Responsibilities:
  • Perform EMC testing in the laboratory and at client premises, and performing other tests as assigned
  • Report on the measurements performed
  • Provide consultant services to clients with EMC testing and design needs
  • Research updates to testing standards and communicating the changes to other staff
  • Work closely with Senior Management on continuous improvement of EMC operations

Requirements
  • Education - Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electronic Engineering or a similar field; or Associate's Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
  • EMC Testing - At least 3 years hands-on experience, with strong Wireless Testing background that covers Bluetooth, WiFi in all of the 802.11 protocols, Zigbee, Cellular, LoRA, etc.
  • Strong communications skills and the ability to work with customers
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with common applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Experience with RF is a major plus
