Job description

About Mytra:
We're creating an entirely new way to solve the most ubiquitous problem in industry - moving and storing material. We're applying robotics and distributed software to create a new class of product for this $1T market. We're focused on the supply chain industry first. The industry is in a massive bind with the continued growth of e-commerce, sharp rise in costs, and supply chain disruptions. What has been a "sleepy" industry for decades is now at the epicenter of sustaining the global economy.
About the role:
As a Senior Wireless RF Systems Engineer at Mytra, you will lead the hardware development of our next-generation wireless products. This role focuses on board-level and system- level RF design, antenna integration, and hardware-to-software system validation. You will own the RF lifecycle from schematic capture and layout through to mass production of large scale wireless deployment and FCC certification.
What you'll do:
  • Board-Level and RF System Design: Own schematic design, component selection, and PCB layout routing for high-performance wireless systems (Wi-Fi, UWB, Wi-Fi HaLow, and Cellular).
  • Enterprise AP Network Design: Experience of Enterprise AP network design and Mesh networking architectures to optimize hardware performance for complex structures
  • Simulation & Tooling: Utilize AP network design tools and RF simulation software to model coverage, predict interference, and optimize hardware before deployment.
  • Antenna & Desense Engineering: Drive antenna down selection and integration while actively mitigating RF desense issues across multi-radio systems and metal heavy environment
  • Comprehensive RF Testing: Execute both conducted and radiated RF testing, alongside system-level verification across Wi-Fi, cellular, and sub-GHz frequencies.
  • Compliance & Certification: Lead the preparation, troubleshooting, and execution of wireless products for RF FCC certification (including cellular carrier validation where applicable).
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the EE and Wireless SW/FW teams to ensure seamless hardware-software integration and successful system bring-up.
  • Mass Production: Guide designs through New Product Introduction (NPI) to high-volume manufacturing, ensuring high yields and robust production test plans.

Ideal Candidates:
  • 5-10 years of hands-on experience in hardware-focused RF systems engineering.
  • Proven track record shipping high-volume wireless systems (mass production experience).
  • Good knowledge of Wi-Fi, UWB (Ultra-Wideband), Wi-Fi HaLow, and Cellular technologies.
  • Good foundational understanding of Enterprise AP network design and Mesh networks.
  • Hands-on experience with AP network design tools and RF simulation suites (e.g., Ekahau, Insite, CST, or ADS).
  • Deep expertise in board-level RF schematic design, layout optimization, and impedance matching
  • Extensive experience with laboratory equipment for conducted/radiated testing (e.g., network analyzers, anechoic chambers).
  • Experience with regulatory compliance pipelines, specifically FCC certification.

A Final Note:
If this role excites you, we encourage you to apply - even if you don't check every box. At Mytra, we build bots, but we hire humans. We value thoughtful challengers who communicate with clarity and respect, and we're lifelong learners committed to getting better every day. We move fast, learn faster, and show up for each other under pressure. The best outcomes come from diverse perspectives working together to build something meaningful and built to last
Benefits Include:
  • Competitive compensation and equity grants at a high-growth company backed by top-tier VCs
  • Fully subsidized health coverage, including medical (baseline plans), dental, and vision for employees and dependents
  • 401(k) plans and employer-subsidized life insurance
  • Fully subsidized lunch and snacks at HQ-we eat and share stories together at the "long" table
  • Generous PTO and company-paid holidays, including one week over the winter break so everyone can recharge together
  • Voluntary pet insurance, Voluntary Life Insurance, Accident, Critical Illness, and Hospital Indemnity
  • Fully subsidized tax advisory services and education to help you understand your equity
  • Commuter benefits, including a up to $150 monthly commuter benefit
  • Lively, modern combined office and lab space where we rapidly iterate through design, build, and test phases
  • Fully equipped onsite gym and showers at headquarters
