Randall Mechanical is currently seeking a top-tier SeniorRevit Detailer with hands-on experience in modeling piping andductwork systems for mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC trades. This role willsupport our VDC team in the creation of detailed fabrication, coordination, andinstallation drawings for large commercial projects. The position is basedon-site at our headquarters in Apopka, FL.
This is an excellent opportunity forsomeone with technical Revit knowledge and a passion for detail who wants togrow in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
EssentialFunctions- Develop fabrication- and installation-ready MEP models using Revit.
- Focus on modeling piping and ductwork systems across a variety ofdisciplines (mechanical, plumbing, HVAC).
- Produce clear, accurate, detailed and constructible shop drawingsfrom contract documents.
- Collaborate with project managers and coordinators to ensureaccuracy, constructability, and adherence to project standards.
- Support coordination processes using Navisworks and Revizto(preferred but not required).
- Participate in internal clash reviews and address coordinationissues where needed.
- Work within established project schedules and document controlprocesses.
- Assist in creating final as-built drawings when required.
- Experience in producing spool drawings for a fabrication shop is aplus.
- Strong proficiency in Revit is required.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience working as a Revit MEP Detailer, with afocus on piping and ductwork.
- Basic understanding of MEP construction documents.
- Familiarity with multiple piping and ductwork systems (sanitary,domestic water, HVAC supply/return/exhaust, etc.).
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and translate them intobuildable models.
- Experience with Navisworks and Revizto is a plus.
- Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (SMACNA, IPC, IMC) isa plus, but not mandatory.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required.
- Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
This is primarily an office positionand, as such, you must be able to sit upto six or more hours in an eight-hour workday, lift light objects such as filesand paperwork frequently during the day, and objects weighing up to 10 poundsoccasionally during the day. You must also beable tobend, stretch, crouch, and liftas required by the job.
