Job description

We are a well-funded biotech company that is redefining drug discovery and development through our fully integrated platform. We combine ultra-high-throughput microfluidics driven functional screening, computational engineering, and translational immunology into a unified engine. Rather than approaching drug development as a series of disconnected steps, we seamlessly integrate the discovery of novel targets, functional screening of binders, computational optimization, and predictive safety assessment to develop more better and safer therapeutics. This end-to-end approach enables faster iteration, deeper biological insight, and the development of better drugs with greater precision and confidence.
We are currently looking for a research associate to join our interdisciplinary team. The candidate is expected to adapt quickly and communicate well, especially in a fast-paced startup environment. Responsibilities:
  • Carry out a variety of cell biology tasks, including mammalian cell culture, virus harvesting, and transfections/transduction of various cell lines.
  • Isolate and engineer primary T cells using different techniques.
  • Perform functional assays to evaluate T cell responses.
  • Assist with molecular cloning tasks including design, PCR, gel extraction, transformation, plasmid preparation, and sequence analysis.
  • Collaborate with team on other experiments when needed.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Skill sets required: molecular cloning, flow cytometry, ELISA, cell line and primary T cell culture, and lentiviral transduction.
  • 2+ years of industry experience.
  • Responsible, accountable, and detail-oriented
  • Detail oriented, excellent organization skills and communication skills.

Nice to haves:
  • Understanding of T cell immunology.
  • Experience with TCE development.
  • Experience with NGS sequencing and analysis.
