As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Rooted Life LLC, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough diagnostic screenings of patients using established evidence-based assessment tools.
• Documenting assessments, interventions, and outcomes efficiently in medical records to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Providing individualized, group, and family counseling services, facilitating communication during family visits and resource coordination.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to design comprehensive treatment plans, including making referrals and case management recommendations.
• Performing timely safety and risk assessments to identify potential crises and implementing interventions as necessary.
• Educating clients and their families regarding mental health conditions, promoting effective coping strategies, and facilitating access to additional resources.

Your work will primarily involve assisting clients who experience a variety of mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to more complex psychological conditions. You will play a pivotal role in fostering a supportive environment for individuals and families and will focus on outpatient care that is both effective and accessible through telehealth platforms.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure in Florida as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), with the capability to practice independently.
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic practices, with a strong foundation in client assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions.

Although the minimum requirement is two years of relevant professional experience, candidates with a background in outpatient clinic settings and familiarity with telehealth practices are strongly encouraged to apply.
