Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a People Operations Partner based in Netherlands.

We're looking for a hands-on People Operations Partner to help deliver a seamless employee experience across a globally distributed workforce.
You'll own core People Operations activities, from onboarding and offboarding to employee data, lifecycle changes, and day-to-day support.
The role combines operational execution with opportunities to contribute to employee relations, analytics, systems, and strategic People projects.
You'll collaborate with employees and leaders across regions and time zones while ensuring processes remain consistent, compliant, and locally relevant.
This is an execution-focused environment where attention to detail, sound judgment, and reliable follow-through are highly valued.
You'll also have the opportunity to explore AI and automation to simplify workflows, reduce administrative work, and improve the employee experience.

Accountabilities
  • Own and process a high volume of employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, offboarding, transfers, job and compensation changes, and other employee requests, ensuring timely and accurate follow-through.
  • Support employees and managers across multiple countries and time zones, applying global People processes while remaining attentive to local requirements and nuances.
  • Provide day-to-day benefits support, including employee questions, enrollments, life-event changes, and coordination with benefits vendors or specialist teams.
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and audit-ready employee records across HRIS and related systems, proactively identifying data gaps, process issues, and potential compliance risks.
  • Serve as a first point of contact for questions related to People policies, processes, benefits, and systems, resolving requests where appropriate and escalating more complex matters to relevant teams.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive employee matters with discretion, empathy, and sound judgment.
  • Prepare, clean, and analyze People data and reports, including headcount, starters, leavers, tenure, and other workforce metrics, supporting dashboards and clear reporting for People leadership.
  • Contribute to People projects such as HRIS and ATS improvements, workflow redesign, policy rollouts, audit preparation, and other cross-functional initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to use AI, automation, documentation, and process improvements to reduce manual work while maintaining privacy, accuracy, and employee trust.
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of experience in People Operations, HR Operations, HR Coordination, HR Generalist work, or a closely related field.
  • Practical experience supporting the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and day-to-day HR transactions.
  • Experience working with a global or multi-country workforce, or demonstrated ability to quickly understand local requirements and work effectively across time zones.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliable follow-through, particularly in a high-volume environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and empathetically with employees and managers.
  • Strong discretion and judgment when handling confidential employee information and sensitive situations.
  • Confidence using spreadsheets such as Excel or Google Sheets, as well as HR systems, with the ability to generate reports, identify data inconsistencies, and maintain accurate records.
  • A service-oriented approach, with a calm, helpful, and dependable attitude even when workloads are high.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment without compromising accuracy or the human side of People Operations.
  • Hands-on experience with modern HRIS platforms such as HiBob, Rippling, Workday, BambooHR, or similar systems is a plus.
  • Exposure to employee relations processes, including intake, documentation, case tracking, or investigation support, is advantageous.
  • Experience supporting employee benefits, including enrollments, life events, employee questions, or vendor coordination, is beneficial.
  • Experience contributing to HR systems or process initiatives, such as HRIS implementations, workflow redesign, audits, or policy rollouts, is a plus.
  • Genuine interest in AI, automation, and emerging tools that can improve People Operations through better workflows, reporting, documentation, and request management.
  • Previous experience in a startup, high-growth, remote, or multi-entity environment is advantageous.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary and stock options.
  • Health benefits.
  • One-time USD $500 home-office setup allowance for new hires.
  • USD $150 monthly stipend provided through a Brex Card.
  • Opportunity to work in a globally distributed and collaborative environment.
  • Exposure to international People Operations across multiple regions, entities, and time zones.
  • Opportunities to contribute to high-impact People, systems, automation, and process-improvement initiatives.
