Overview
The Sr Developer-Data is responsible for developing advanced and scalable data solutions that align with business needs, providing key insights to decision-makers or supporting business applications. They will work collaboratively with other data engineers and key stakeholders, ensuring seamless integration from source systems to data modeling and dashboard creation. This developer is capable of independently managing projects from concept to deliverable and owning the entire stack of work from data integration, data warehousing and modeling, and delivering data to target systems such as business intelligence platforms.
Education & Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent demonstrated skills and abilities is required.
  • Minimum of 8-years' relevant experience preferred.

Job Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data processing and integrations pipelines using SQL & Python within Azure to ingest data from various source systems to our data warehouse.
  • Model data to create datasets and dashboards which derive insights and enable decision makers throughout the organization.
  • Maintain and optimize existing data architecture and solutions.
  • Partner with other developers and key stakeholders to collaborate and build innovative solutions to solve business problems.
  • Own the entire stack of development by being able to ingest and model data from source systems, store and cleanse it within the data warehouse, and then visualize and distribute the data through a business intelligence platform.
  • Serve as thought-leader with an emphasis on improvement and innovation.
  • Develop business acumen and working knowledge of source systems to better understand how to translate raw data into impactful insights.
  • Collaborate with fellow developers, business analysts, and key stakeholders within other departments.
  • Architect large scale data solutions and lead critical projects.
  • Adhere to industry development and architecture standards.
  • Deploy code by utilizing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Document code and build test cases.
  • Conduct peer reviews of teammates' code.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.
