What You'll Do
As a Sr. Application Analyst for Workday Supply Chain you will be responsible for working with business stakeholders and partners to strategically design and deliver processes and solutions that drive and sustain operational excellence. This position will be responsible for designing, configuring, enhancing, implementing, and supporting various Supply Chain related processes and solutions. The candidate will possess a combination of functional and technical expertise, as well as a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical partners to establish deep cross-functional relationships to ensure solutions and initiatives are effectively designed and implemented.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Serve as a subject matter expert on Workday Supply Chain based upon functional areas or projects assigned providing continuous input on process improvement and elevated support
• Provide consultation and serve as a partner to Supply Chain leaders and COE's, building domain knowledge, gathering requirements, providing solutions and impact analysis
• Develop understanding of the business needs, evaluate Workday capabilities to ensure continuous improvement of the platform
• Execute and develop implementation strategy for new requests including configuration, testing, documentation, change management and training of business partners and stakeholders
• Function as one of the primary day-to-day contacts for Workday Supply Chain, proactively engaging with user inquiries, providing excellent customer service
• Collaborate and partner across multiple departments and teams to understand business needs and to assess Workday configuration feasibility and impact to other business processes, reports, integrations, or security
• Research and develop innovative solutions supporting strategic initiatives
• Provide support for incident management, data requests, reporting and analytics
• Assist in testing solutions, integrations, security, annual events, and audits
What You Bring
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields
• Seven (7) years of job-related experience in similar capacity
• Five (5) years of Workday Supply Chain experience and training in a healthcare environment
• Three (3) years of experience configuring Workday Supply Chain functional areas, including Procurement, Inventory Management, Supplier Contracts, and/or Strategic Sourcing
• Working knowledge of Workday Finance touchpoints and interdependency with Supply Chain including Suppliers and Supplier Accounts
• Experience analyzing and translating functional specifications and change requests into solutions
• A proactive and independent approach to problem-solving, identifying opportunities for system improvement and driving initiatives without supervision
• Experience designing, configuring, testing, deploying, and supporting Workday solutions in a complex environment
• Experience developing custom reports, dashboards, and EIB data loads, as well as good understanding of the Workday business process framework, integrations, and security
